Kanye West and Kim Kardashian tied the knot on Saturday afternoon during a wedding ceremony in Florence, Italy. As Us Weekly reports, the couple wed at the city's 16th-century Forte di Belvedere, attended by guests including John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, 12 Years a Slave director Steve McQueen and Q-Tip.
The couple kicked off their elaborate wedding celebrations in France on Friday, holding a brunch at the designer Valentino's castle and a rehearsal dinner at the Palace of Versailles just outside Paris. The pre-nuptial evening featured a performance by celebrity magician David Blaine and a private concert by Lana Del Rey, who sang three songs, including "Summertime Sadness," according to E! Before the performance, West delivered a toast to his bride and their guests, declaring, "Kim's way more beautiful than I am talented," UsWeekly reports.
West began dating the reality TV star in the spring of 2012. He announced during a concert in December of that year that Kardashian was pregnant with his child, and their daughter North "Nori" West was born the following June. The couple became engaged this past October on Kardashian's 33rd birthday, when West proposed in extravagant fashion at San Francisco's AT&T Park with a spectacle that featured the Chicago Symphony and a giant Jumbotron spelling out the words "Pleeease Marry Meee!!!"
It's the third marriage for Kardashian and the first for 36-year-old West, who has taken inspiration from his lady for his own work, including his track "Perfect Bitch" and the video for "Bound 2."
