Mouhcine Iajour scored a 22-minute hat-trick as Moroccans Moghreb Tetouan beat Nigeria's Kano Pillars 4-0 in the first leg of their delayed African Champions League last-32 tie.
The match had been postponed on Kano Pillars' request after they fell victim to armed robbers while travelling to a domestic fixture this month.
Iajour struck after 14, 27 and 35 minutes of the match at Stade Saniat Rmel in northern Morocco. Zaid Krouch added a fourth goal in the last minute.
The hat-trick makes 29-year-old Iajour the leading Champions League scorer so far this season with four goals, having got one in a preliminary-round triumph over Malians CO Bamako.
It leaves Pillars with a mountain to climb in the return leg which they will host during the first weekend of April at Sani Abacha Stadium in northern city Kano.
Pillars had cruised to away and home victories over South Sudanese Al-Malakia in the previous round with Gambo Muhammed bagging three goals.
Muhammed missed the trip to Morocco as he is recovering from gunshot wounds sustained during the armed attack on their bus.
